Four fires. One seal. A collaboration between Aficionado and Michigan’s Midnight Roots — built on nothing but OG.

Quattro Fuego is what happens when two OG obsessives compare notes. Jake at Midnight Roots has spent well over a decade selecting, backcrossing, and refining OG — his library is almost entirely OGs, OG derivatives, and OG hybrids, and he’s known for holding some of the very best OG in the world. We brought Fire OG. He brought Smoked Catfish.

The result carries Fire OG and OG18 on every branch of the tree — which is exactly why we named it for four fires.

Why “four fires.”

   On the male side this time, paired with the OG18 BX1. Fire on both ends of the cross.

From Catfish to Quattro.

Catfish started as Jake’s selection of OG #18 from Reserva Privada — a swampy, gassy, jet-fuel-and-citrus OG with bigger-than-normal OG yields. It took 1st Place Sativa Flower at the 2014 High Times Cup in Clio, Michigan, and went on to be named a High Times Top 10 Strain of the Year in 2016.
To make Smoked Catfish, he crossed the Catfish cut to a Fire 18 male — Fire OG × OG18 BX1, originally from Headkracker Seeds. Then we took it one step further and put Smoked Catfish back onto Fire OG.
