Highly recommended for breeding purposes only.  The magic of our original diesel BX series lies within it’s strengths are a reliable crutch for working Sour-dominant lines. As you know, the traits that make Sour Diesel famous is, in our observation, as recessive trait. The Original Diesel BX1 was the first ultra-reliable male we’ve come across that when pollinating the “clone-only” sour mothers we started seeing consistent sour traits.

THIS IS ONLY RECOMMENDED to growers with ample experience growing chems and sours and understand the nuances of these strains.  Sour Diesel is among the hardest to grow strains and it’s even harder to select because the nose usually ONLY comes out on the cure (in our experience Sour IBL’s from 07+ are the exception to this observation) however it is commonly acknowledged between season growers with many years of growing Sour that the REAL nose comes out on the cure.

Be sure that when selecting for sour traits and keepers, pre-selection in veg is a pipe dream and the only real selection happens after the cure. We select for noodle-like thin branching and dark leathery green leaves in veg for preselection. Happy Hunting!!
